Ken: The little boy had a pad and a few pencils that were lying on the bench near him, but I zoomed and cropped them out of the photo (which I was regretting as I was posting this photo last night). The older guy had something in his lap, as well, and he was pointing things out from it on the wall.
This delightful shot made my day ;) I also like the matching blue clothing and the wonder of it all . . . This one is worthy of printing . . . I don't think I would ever tire of it.
I brought one of my sons when he was about 5 yrs old and the MFA gave him a sketch pad and activity guide. It's good to know they've continued that practice. We spent a lot of time with the Grecian urns on that visit . . . my son's choice.
