Four years ago today...

I live in Jamaica Plain, which is easily one of the most socially aware neighborhoods in the city. There are a number of houses in the area with "Impeach Bush" signs planted in their front yards, there are bumper stickers promoting equality on nearly every other car on the street, and there are posters like this advertising protests of all types on a regular basisa. In the past week, heaps of these stickers and related posters have cropped up all over the neighborhood.

Finally a daily photo blog for Boston! I'm from Brighton, the BC area. Hope to see more of Boston from your blog!

Hello Sarah and welcome to world city blogs. We are your next door neighbors from Arlington.
Surprisingly, we have not seen yet this sign around. Thanks for letting us know about this prostest against the war that will take place on the Common on March 24th.

You're righ Fay, it's nice to see a dailyphoto blog of Boston. I'm too busy right now to handle it on daily basis.

Fay, I used to live in Brighton Center and I loved it. Brighton gets a bad rap from the Comm Ave stretch of it, but once you get into the rest of Brighton it is such a great little neighborhood!

Alex, I love your weekly photos! I was surprised to find another one of these stickers in Downtown Crossing.

Hi Alex, glad to see you here! I enjoy your blog too. I understand how hard it is to keep a blog that updates on a regular basis. It's already hard for me to keep reading the posts!

Cowbark, with what you have said, I'm a little ashamed to admit that I live on Comm Ave... Ah good old Comm Ave and good old B line... I didn't know Brighton was interpreted as a "not-very-good" town (I haven't been here for too long) until I saw "Shear Madness". But so far I don't have problem living here so it's all good!
