Street Food

There are at least half a dozen vendors that sell food from the carts in Downtown Crossing. I used to work with a woman who always warned "beware the street food!" because she had gotten sick once from food she'd bought at one of these carts. I've never tried the food, but you can get hot dogs, roasted nuts, lemonade, tacos, and probably even more I don't know about!

Mmmmm, I could really go for a sausage on a roll for lunch today. Thanks for the reminder. And I like the perspective of this shot.

The street food in Downtown Crossing is delicious and regulated by the health department just like any restaurant. I once got sick from something I ate at the Ritz and it cost a lot more than a delicious Hot Dog or Chacarero from a cart. Tell your friend to give it another try. The Burrito's are good too!
