A while back Quincy Daily Photo asked about phone booths in your town. There certainly aren't as many in Boston as there used to be, but I found these in Chinatown and thought they were awesome.

This is a fantastic photo! ... and soon to be a historic and classic one, because AT&T and Bell South are eliminating pay phones. The smaller companies will be right behind them.
Yea. Phone booths are hard to come by now! But, in London, they are every where, and people use them! :D
Anyways, Chinatown is one of the few places you can see a phone booth in Boston. There always used to be a very cool phone-shaped phone booth near the corner of Mass. Ave & Magazine Street, too.
I'm so glad I asked . . . you found some gems in Chinatown. I'm afraid "Beantown today" is right about their endangered status. Enjoy and take pictures for posterity.
Slim - the funniest thing about your original post is that ever since then, I notice phone booths all over!!!
